BYOBikes

BYOBikes provides less fortunate and at-risk children in the New Orleans community with their first bike as well as a helmet, lock, and bike lights to make sure they are able to safely experience the joys of biking!
Do you remember your first bike?
This question is at the root of the mission of BYOBikes. Spreading that joy that a kid gets when they get their first bicycle is a great feeling and this organization makes sure you can capture that feeling. From volunteering at one of their events to donating to support the organization, you can know that you’re helping secure bicycles for children all around the city. Looking to get your team or business involved? Consider hosting a team-building event where your team learns to assemble bicycles and work together to ensure the kids will receive a top notch bike.
Be sure to tune in around the holidays for their annual Celebration in the Spokes event. Have a great time and kick off the season of giving by helping get bikes to kids!
