Bike Easy April Challenge

Get ready for a whole month of bike fun! Join people around the region in this free challenge. Compete against and encourage neighbors, co-workers, and new friends on the virtual platform!

The April Challenge 2022 is looking for sponsors!

Join us in a celebration of biking throughout Greater New Orleans. Ride a bicycle, encourage others, and get the chance to earn prizes!

Every year, the Bike Easy April Challenge, presented by Entergy, encourages people to ride bikes more often! It’s a month-long, friendly competition between different organizations and groups, and there’s something for everyone – whether you’ve never ridden a bike or you ride everyday. Pedal for 10 minutes or more, then log your ride to get points and be entered into prize drawings. Then, get even more points by encouraging new riders!

With COVID-19 effecting so many aspects of daily life. After long consideration and consulting with local and state officials, Bike Easy is moving forward with the Bike Easy April Challenge, presented by Entergy. The Challenge will continue as a virtual encouragement tool. Only solo bike rides or rides with those in your household you are quarantined with are encouraged through the Challenge. Bike Easy worked with Love to Ride to ensure that indoor rides are now also accepted on their platform.

Along with competing for great prizes, participating in the Bike Easy April Challenge helps support Bike Easy’s advocacy and education efforts! By showing how many people ride and sharing your stories, we increase momentum for building safe and accessible streets.

Log any ride, it can be a group ride with your team or a trip to the grocery store, a friends house, or around the park. These rides still count towards your team’s standings. Team up with your co-workers, social club members, or congregation or ride solo and take 30 seconds to register now.

Join us for the Bike Easy April Challenge by taking 30 seconds to join or register now!
