Will you email the City of New Orleans’ Office of Transportation, at movingneworleans@nola.gov, and let them know why you’re excited for protected bikeways, ADA accessible curb ramps, improved signage and crosswalks, and more Complete Streets infrastructure to come to your neighborhood?

N. Galvez and N. Miro Protected Bikeways

If you’ve ridden on N. Galvez lately, you’ve probably experienced the new protected bikeway (pictured on the left): the comfort, the safety, the joy. We love them too, and are excited to share that construction on the adjacent street, N. Miro, is expected to begin this month!

We want to show folks at the City, and everyone in Greater New Orleans, just how excited we are for these new protected bikeways. Will you post a photo of you riding down these newly improved streets? Tag us @BikeEasy and we’ll share your photos with the rest of our community.
