Safety Sunday – Galvez Bike Lane Cleanup

Join the Bike Easy Policy and Design Committee for our Bike Lane Cleanup on Galvez. We’ll be setting up the tent on the neutral ground on Galvez and AP Tureaud. We’re focusing on cleaning up the bike lane on Galvez from St. Bernard and try to get as far down-river as we can. While we’re cleaning up debris, we’ll try to identify any problem areas to make recommendations on improving the design and maintenance of this corridor.

We’ll bring snacks and water to fill up your water bottles. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes. We’ll have some brooms, shovels, and bags to collect trash. Feel free to bring anything you’d like to help with street cleaning!
