Safety Sunday – Bike Lane Cleanup – Norman C Francis Bridge

Join Bike Easy’s Policy and Design Committee for our Bike Lane Cleanup!
This event is Sunday, November 5th from 9-11 am on the Norman Francis Bridge. We’ll be set up on the neutral ground on the Tulane Ave. side (across from the Goodwill) This path is one of the safest to cross the highway for people on bikes so we want to make sure it’s free of debris and also look at what causes the gravel to constantly collect on the path just before Tulane Ave.
We bring street cleaning tools, reflective vests, cones, and snacks.
Please be sure to bring: comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes, reusable water bottles for refilling, friends, and anything else you think will assist in clearing the bike lanes!
