Safety Sunday – Bike Lane Cleanup – Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

Join Bike Easy’s Policy and Design Committee for our Safety Sunday Bike Lane Cleanup. These efforts are to clean up bike lanes in the city, while identifying why these lanes need to be cleared. We then collect our findings to share suggestions to the city, hoping to improve current infrastructure and things to consider in future bike lanes.

For this event, we’ll be working on the newest bike lane from the city – Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. We’ll be set up in the Neutral Ground of MLK just lakeside of Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

We bring street cleaning tools, reflective vests, cones, and snacks.
Please be sure to bring: comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes, reusable water bottles for refilling, friends, and anything else you think will assist in clearing the bike lanes!
