Safety Sunday – Bike Lane Cleanup – Holiday Drive

Join Bike Easy’s Policy and Design Committee for our monthly Bike Lane Cleanup!
Our next event is Sunday, July 23rd from 9-11 am at Algiers Plaza. We’ll be set up in the parking lot near Winn Dixie. The City will be removing the protected bike lane on MacArthur, which intersects with Holiday Drive, so we’re hoping we can show some love to what infrastructure still exists there, and see the new layout of the unprotected strip of MacArthur.
We bring street cleaning tools, reflective vests, cones, and snacks.
Please be sure to bring: comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes, reusable water bottles for refilling, friends, and anything else you think will assist in clearing the bike lanes!
