Safety Sunday – Bike Lane Cleanup – Elysian Fields

Join Bike Easy’s Policy and Design Committee for our monthly Bike Lane Cleanup!
Our next event is Sunday, June 25th from 9-11 am at Washington Square. We’ll be set up on the neutral ground just outside of the park. Elysian Fields has seen numerous bike crashes and fatalities over the year, so it’s a great place to have some of our newest protected bike lanes. However, the debris and leaves have really collected around some spots, making them unsafe for people on bike (especially during certain weather) come join us as we clean up these bike lanes!
We bring street cleaning tools, reflective vests, cones, and snacks.
Please be sure to bring: comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes, reusable water bottles for refilling, friends, and anything else you think will assist in clearing the bike lanes!
