Bike Rodeo at the Lower 9th Ward Festival

Come visit Bike Easy August 26th, from 11am to 4pm, at the Lower Ninth Ward Homeowner’s Association Festival!
We will be hosting a Bike Rodeo for kids and handing copies of our Activity Book.
The Bike Rodeo is a bike course geared at getting kids comfortable riding a bicycle while learning the basic rules of the road, signaling, turning, and stopping. Bike Easy will have instructors present throughout the day to teach basic bike control techniques and rules. Focus is on giving participants the essential skills they need to bicycle safely, while creating a fun and playful series of activities for them to learn. We practice motor skills, go through mock intersections and demonstrate signaling to reinforce traffic principles.
*BIKE AND HELMETS WILL BE PROVIDED*
