The Bike Easy April Challenge, powered by Entergy, is here!

Today is the first day of our month-long friendly competition where you earn points by riding and encouraging others to ride, all while growing and celebrating the New Orleans biking community. So start logging your miles today and make sure to invite your friends, family, and co-workers to join the Challenge and virtually connect with our great community of people that bike!

There is no better time to get and ride throughout the Greater New Orleans region. The weather is beautiful, and you’ll earn points to increase your chances of earning one of our many prize giveaways.

Click here to register for the Bike Easy April Challenge and get started earning points right away! If you’re already registered, then take a ride, log it on LoveToRide and post a photo of your first ride of the challenge.

There’s so many reasons to make just a little time to get out and ride today, from health benefits and reducing stress to exploring the city and going to your favorite neighborhood spot.

Just in case you need some more reasons to get out and ride, here’s some of our favorite reasons that people ride:

“I ride because It makes me feel like a kid! ” – Stefan B.

“I ride because I like to feel the wind.” – Keith K.

“I ride because it sparks joy and makes my arse more shapely which also sparks joy” – Colleen B.

“I ride because I get to enjoy the outdoors and explore beautiful parks and neighborhoods.” – Fran B.

Why do you ride?

Let us know by registering for the Bike Easy April Challenge, filling out the ‘I ride because’ prompt, and then logging your first ride of this year’s Bike Easy April Challenge.

There’s plenty of events and opportunities to earn points and celebrate the biking community of Greater New Orleans this month, so make sure to keep an eye on our social media and emails in the coming month.

We also want to thank our sponsors, Entergy New Orleans, Bike Law Louisiana, Fenstermaker, and Regions Bank for making this year’s Bike Easy April Challenge possible.

Hope to see you on the streets!
