We are heartbroken to share that another person has been lost to traffic violence on our streets. Michael Milam was killed in a hit-and-run crash while biking on St. Claude Avenue near Alvar Street. Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, and all who mourn his loss. His death is another painful reminder of the urgent need for safer infrastructure and stronger protections for people walking and biking in New Orleans and beyond.

In the wake of this tragedy, we remain committed to advocating for safer, more connected communities across our region. With that in mind, we want to share three important opportunities for engagement and progress:

Help Build a Crash Resource Guide
