Keep up with (and support!) biking improvements in your neighborhood

With so much street construction going on around New Orleans, you might be wondering if new bike lanes and other Complete Streets improvements are coming to your neighborhood.

That’s why we and our friends at the New Orleans Complete Streets Coalition are creating neighborhood resource pages to keep you up to date on ‘Moving New Orleans Bikes’ improvements coming to your neighborhood. Check out the current pages for the 7th Ward, Treme, Mid-City & Gentilly and AlgiersSoon, we’ll debut pages for downtown and Uptown.

Stay up to date with the ‘Moving New Orleans Bikes’ biking and walking improvements in your area with our new neighborhood resource pages!

Bike Valet made a big splash in our return!

We provided Bicycle Valet for “Let’s Get Loud” a bicycle race, 5k, and after-party that celebrated Juneteenth and culture bearers of New Orleans. It was a beautiful day for all the riders and runners, though a heavy storm came through while everyone was enjoying the afterparty. It cleared up just before the event ended, so everyone was able to stay dry when they came back for their bikes. (We did our best to keep
the helmets dry)

We’re excited to be working to bring back Bicycle Valet to many of our favorite events and add some new ones this year.
However, many of our partners have had their budgets severely impacted due to the setbacks of 2020. We have great sponsorship opportunities available that would bring great awareness at events around the region.
