Greta moved to New Orleans from South Carolina in 2015 to attend Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine. She began riding her bike from Uptown to Downtown during the height of Mardi Gras 2016, and it quickly became her preferred method of travel. Over the years she has ridden with many cycling groups, and has raced her bike competitively in New Orleans and regionally.

She graduated with a Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree from Tulane in 2017, and has worked in both public and private organizations in the City to improve health outcomes for New Orleans and Louisiana residents. She believes health is a fundamental human right, and that includes healthy options for transportation.

“I’m excited to be joining the Bike Easy Board of Directors to help support the work that they and their partners have been doing for the past 19 years. Designing cities for all residents is powerful and important for so many reasons, and we must keep this conversation focused around human-centered solutions. Bike Easy and their partners have been advocates of this movement for a long time. I’m honored to have been chosen to be involved in this important work!”
