Gary Brandt (he/him) is a seasoned outdoorsman, cyclist, and foodie who brings a big smile and growth-oriented approach to all of his endeavors.  He has worked as a non-profit professional for the past decade and a half with time at summer camps, JCC’s, and start-ups across the country. His other work experience is as an EMT, English teacher in Japan, carpenter/welder, and ropes course facilitator. Gary is a proud Eagle Scout and and began his lifelong enthusiasm with all things bikes with the cycling merit badge in High School.

Gary is a native of Louisiana and has returned home to put down roots and find ways to build better citizens and help those in need across the city. He can be spotted on a myriad of local group bike rides, hosting innovative Shabbat gatherings, building Mardi Gras floats, or volunteering to combat food insecurity in the Crescent City.
