Adam Davies, Board Member

Originally from the UK, Adam has been an avid cyclist from a young age, riding to school and throughout university, where he even used an electric bike (e-bike) for commuting. After relocating to New Orleans a few years ago, his wife’s hometown, he has continued to pursue his passion for cycling and sustainable transportation.

As a software engineer, Adam is particularly interested in leveraging technological solutions to make cycling more accessible and enjoyable. He believes that e-bikes, in particular, have the potential to serve as a true car replacement, allowing people to travel farther and carry more with cargo bikes—all while staying cool and comfortable, even during the hot summer months. For Adam, e-bikes are a vital tool for breaking the cycle of car ownership and maintenance that often traps people in poverty.

After traveling to many cities around the world while hopping on a wide array of bike-share programs, Adam believes New Orleans has the potential to become a leading city for cycling, with its flat terrain and vibrant community. He is committed to helping create a sustainable, bike-friendly future for New Orleans—one where people of all ages and abilities can confidently cycle wherever they need to go.
