At the end of 2021, the Bike Easy team spent our staff retreat in Lacombe, LA –near the Tammany Trace Bike Trail– reflecting on 2021 and our goals for 2022. We used our retreat to reset and refocus for this new year!
During our retreat, we got Back to Basics, reacquainting ourselves with Bike Easy’s mission, strategies, and programs’ core principles. We decided to focus our efforts in 2022 on building channels of inclusion and equity across all programmatic areas we serve.
Our workshops and discussions during the retreat, helped us gear up for an end-of-year campaign, How Do We Bike Easy? We envisioned this campaign to be an extension of our conversations from our retreat and highlighting how our programs and supporters help make an impact in the Greater New Orleans community.
We’re excited to announce we raised $29,604 during our end-of-the-year campaign, How Do We Bike Easy?
We’ve pedaled into 2022 on a good note, with so many wins to celebrate already! We sped past our goal of $25,000 by $4,604! We raised $28,923 in donations and membership renewals and $680 from our monthly sustaining members donation!
We had such a great end of the year season with the help of our amazing Bike Easy Members and supporters! We’re so grateful for all the donations we received. Now, we’re equipped to expand our programming in 2022 and meet our goals to continue making bicycling easy, safe, and fun for everyone in Greater New Orleans!
But we couldn’t have done it without our strong supporters, some of which joined us on December 13th for our Virtual End-of-Year Membership Party.
