By simply joining, you are taking an active role in realizing our mission to make bicycling easy, safe and fun for everyone in Greater New Orleans. Together with hundreds of other voices, you become part a movement that is educating, advocating and building a community of people who bike.

In return for your membership, Bike Easy is able to amplify support for safe & accessible streets that are truly built to share. Along with better biking, through our advocacy efforts we work with other organizations to ensure safe walking routes, transit access, health equity, affordable housing, green infrastructure, economic development and more. Transportation is intertwined with most of the challenges facing our region.
Additionally, membership supports our education programs that teach people of all ages safe bicycling techniques and also educates drivers, community leaders and those charged with enforcing traffic laws about the benefits of cycling and their role in ensuring easy, fun and safe bicycling for all.
Finally, the direct benefits of Bike Easy membership include great discounts at great local businesses like Avenue Cafe, Black & Gold Wash & Fold, Dirty Coast, Flambeaux Bicycle Tours, Healing Nature Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine and Massey’s in Mid City with many more coming in 2020. The Bike Easy Spring Bicycle Second Line is free to all who want to ride, but only Members get our commemorative t-shirts. Our Annual Membership Meeting and Party, which includes free food and drink, is only open to current Members.
