Interested in volunteering at Bike Easy? We’ve got lots of ways you can get involved to help make biking in New Orleans fun, safe, and easy for everyone! From parking bikes at festivals with Bike Valet to researching policy initiatives to organizing the Bicycle Second Line, we rely on volunteers in many aspects of our work.

Please register today for the Bike Easy Volunteer Orientation!

Bike Easy is dedicated to educating all our volunteers on the most current aspects of bike safety and advocacy, and we’ll make sure you’ve got the skills and support necessary to represent Bike Easy and do your volunteer job successfully.

On Tuesday, September 15, Bike Easy Executive Director, Dan Favre, and League Cycling Instructor, Ron Ferruci, will conduct a Volunteer Orientation for anyone who would like to get more involved with Bike Easy or anyone who wants an update on our work.

At the Orientation, we’ll cover:

  • Bike Easy’s current work and vision for the future of bicycling
  • Bicycle safety information and the basics of educating others on safe riding
  • Volunteer opportunities and specific ways to get involved

At the end of the meeting, we’ll be getting people signed up for volunteer jobs, so please bring your calendar. Everyone at Bike Easy is excited to work with you!
