The Bike Easy April Challenge 2021 wrapped the 10th year of Bike to Work Day and our 5th annual month-long celebration of biking in New Orleans.
With over 150 new riders, 962 individuals, and 87 workplaces taking part in this year’s Challenge, we logged over 75,000 miles, with over 10,000 of those miles recorded for transport. Of the 962 individuals participating, 418 were new to the Challenge this year.
This year, the Bike Easy April Challenge was once again powered by Entergy. Bike Law Louisiana returned as a gold sponsor along with Fenstermaker. As COVID restrictions we’re eased, we we’re able to partner with organizations throughout the city that offered fun incentives to get people out to celebrate biking in New Orleans, big thank you to JAMNOLA, District Donuts, and the Pythian Market for partnering with us for these great fundraising opportunities!
