Join us this Sunday

At Bike Easy, for over 15 years we’ve been advocating to make New Orleans and the region a safe and equitable place to ride a bike and walk the street. We’ve seen success with New Orleans going from 0 to over 100 miles of traditional bike lanes. But on its own, we know that no amount of striping is enough to make biking a safe, everyday option for the entire community.

The time has come to take the next step in making biking and walking safe and accessible for everyone in New Orleans and the region.

Sign up as a Complete Streets Ambassador!

Join us in this effort as a Complete Streets Ambassador and help us recruit more of our neighbors in the fight for streets that are built to share and the construction of a network of safe, connected, and protected bikeways.

The City of New Orleans is gearing up a city-wide protected-bikeway planning process and it’s essential that people who bike and walk step up to participate in this moment. As an Ambassador for Complete Streets you will work closely with Bike Easy to recruit bikers, walkers, and transit riders to participate in public meetings to provide local, on-the-ground perspectives about dangerous roadways, popular routes, and resources residents need to connect to.
