Our friends at GirlTrek New Orleans are rallying this Saturday with friends, family and community leaders for a day of local activism, food, music, games, and a neighborhood walk all in support of a new Complete Streets policy for New Orleans!

Attend the rally for improved street conditions as a way to enhance health, provide economic opportunities, and build up our communities. This is an opportunity to meet local elected and community leaders and learn how we can come together to improve neighborhood streets.

Complete Streets are streets built or reconstructed to accommodate all people, whether they are driving, walking, biking, or riding public transit. Bike Easy and GirlTrek are working together for this approach to become institutionalized and normalized in all jurisdictions of Greater New Orleans and that all steps of street design, construction, and operations embody these values.
