While we don’t have anything officially in the books until October, I’m reaching out to cast a net to see if our community can come together to support a new festival that started last year and is expanding this upcoming year.
Black Americana Festival is being held at The Broadside on September 26th and 27th and has a great lineup. They’ve been doing some great fundraising throughout the community and we’re looking to try to find a sponsor to bring Bicycle Valet to their 2 day event. Last year’s single day event had bikes locked up to anything that could be locked to for multiple bikes around. Check out the picture above of the bike rack outside of the venue last year.
Sponsoring our Bicycle Valet program comes with several great perks including: logo and custom text printed on our valet tickets, great brand recognition at the entrance to festivals, table space to hand out materials/information, and of course supporting this great local festival and promoting safe active transportation.

Crescent City Blues and BBQ Festival is October 10-12 in Lafayette Square. We set up on Camp Street for this festival every year, on the opposite side of the park from where we are for Wednesday at the Square.
Then, we will be set up for Oak Street Po Boy Festival at the same parking lot we’ve been at for the past few years, at Zimple and Carrollton. This year, the festival will be on Sunday, November 16th.
