Why do you ride a bike?

Everyone has a reason they love to ride. Share yours on the Bike Easy April Challenge social platform.

One thing I love about biking is that there are as many reasons to ride as there are people who ride.

If you don’t believe me, head to the Bike Easy April Challenge social platform on LoveToRide and scroll through everyone’s reasons for riding.

We started the Bike Easy April Challenge powered by Entergy as a fun competition to encourage more people to bike. Reading all these reasons to ride it’s clear that, especially during Covid-19, it’s become a lot more than that: it’s a reason to get outside, a place to share achievements, a way to connect.

With the challenge soon coming to an end, we want to make sure you join the Bike Easy April Challenge for whatever reason you love to ride. Will you register for the Bike Easy April Challenge today? It only takes a minute.

Every day since the Bike Easy April Challenge started,* I read through people’s reasons they ride* (I still don’t think I’ve read all of them) and everyday I’m reminded of all the joy biking brings into people’s lives. Here’s some of my personal favorites:

“I ride because I like to feel the wind. ” – Keith K.

“I ride because It gets me fit and also helps the environment. I feel like I am doing my part.” – Nicole W.

“I ride because I gotta go to work.” – Aznerol N.

“I ride because it sparks joy and makes my arse more shapely which also sparks joy” – Colleen H.

Everyone has their reason for riding,* it’s what makes the New Orleans biking community so diverse and beautiful. Why not share your reason too? *

Will you register for the Bike Easy April Challenge today and share your reason for riding?

I hope to see you share your reason to ride and help us finish up the Bike Easy April Challenge strong!
