Walk / Bike / Places Conference
The premier gathering of walking, biking, and placemaking professionals is coming to New Orleans!
Walk/Bike/Places 2018 will take place September 16-19 in New Orleans at the Downtown Sheraton, and is expected to draw 1,500+ city planners, transportation engineers, public health professionals, elected officials, community leaders, placemakers, and professional walking and bicycling advocates. Project for Public Spaces organizes the conference, and Bike Easy is the local partner and Executive Director, Dan Favre, chairs the Local Host Committee.
Bike Easy worked with the City of New Orleans to attract this great conference. We’re excited to help attendees understand how great streets, shared spaces, historic architecture and other elements of the built environment play a key part in creating our unique culture. Most importantly, we look forward to momentum generated here locally from the conference and the incredible energy and expertise that is easily available to local practitioners.
