Bike Easy Challenge
Celebrating all people who ride their bikes
The Bike Easy Challenge, presented by Entergy, is a free, month-long, community-wide challenge that encourages more people to experience the joys and benefits of biking. Anyone can join the Bike Easy Challenge by riding anytime, anywhere for 10 minutes or more, and all participants are eligible for great prizes donated by supporters and bike-friendly businesses across the region.
If you don’t ride to work, no problem! As long as your log your ride, it can be a group ride with your team or a trip to the grocery store, a friends house, or around the park. These rides still count towards your team’s standings. Team up with your co-workers, social club members, or congregation or ride solo and take 30 seconds to register now.
The 8th annual Greater New Orleans Bike to Work Day, the marquis event of the Bike Easy Challenge and presented by Entergy, includes bike commute “trains” and a breakfast meetup in Duncan Plaza to celebrate the bicycle culture and growing bikeway network in the region. Other events include the Challenge Kickoff Happy Hour, Bike to Worship Weekend, the Last Chance Crawfish Boil, and many other educational and social bicycle-oriented gatherings.
