This class will focus on multi-modal road safety, giving teens the resources and information that they need to try active transportation. Recognizing that the most effective way to develop courteous drivers is to put students on bikes, the class will include extensive bike riding and discussions about safe road behavior for all users.

The training is held in two parts. On October 3rd, students will be in class learning how to be safe in traffic; the following day, October 4th, students will put the skills they learned in class to practice on their bikes. Both class dates run from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. The class is limited to 15 participants

The class is made happen through a NORDC & Bike Easy partnership.
