Say yes to low-stress biking in New Orleans

Posted by Heather Haylett on August 7, 2019 in Advocacy

Attend a city-wide meeting Thursday, August 8th.

At the first two of three presentations, we’ve had the chance to look over the City’s plans to bring safe, accessible biking to every part of our city, and I can tell you: there’s ample reason to be excited for what’s coming to New Orleans!

Now’s your chance to see for yourself and show your support for improved mobility options. Please let us know if you can join us Thursday, 6-730pm at the Main Branch of the New Orleans Public Library!

Come check out the ambitious blueprint to reach every neighborhood with protected bike lanes and bike boulevards! Learn what went into the proposed network and how the City processed traffic, crash, and other data alongside your invaluable input as residents and commuters. Join us this Thursday to provide additional feedback to the City and learn how to get involved with Bike Easy and the New Orleans Complete Streets Coalition’s efforts to continue to enlist support throughout the broader community.

RSVP to let us know you’ll be there!

This is a really big deal for everyone’s safety and peace of mind as we travel the city. Come show your support for Mayor Cantrell and her team’s commitment to moving New Orleans forward.
