Mason Curran

Mason’s lifelong passion for cycling and community involvement lead to him joining the Board of Bike Easy in 2017. Mason belongs to several recreational cycling groups and enjoys riding on the river levee top and along the lake front in Orleans and Jefferson parishes. Mason enjoys combining his love for cycling with raising money for various non-profit organizations. He has participated in many charity bike rides along the Gulf Coast, including the largest Bike MS ride in the country – the BP MS 150 from Houston to Austin which he has done 5 times. Other favorite charity rides include the Louisiana Bike MS, Ride Yellow and the Good Life Ride.

A native of Daphne, Alabama, Mason attended LSU for his B.S. in Business Administration as well as his MBA. He moved to New Orleans in 1995 and has been involved in many civic organizations, including the Young Leadership Council where he served as President in 2008. Mason is currently a Board member for the Foundation of Science and Mathematics in Education which supports the New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School, also known as Sci High. Professionally, Mason is a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual where his practice focuses on providing financial security for business owners, families and individuals. He is married to Leslie Taylor and resides in Old Metairie.
