Native to Louisiana, Kevin is a daily bicycle commuter that is much happier on a bike than behind the wheel of his car. Kevin believes that communities that rely on bicycles as a primary form of transportation are more healthy, safe, and friendly, and generally enjoy a higher quality of life. In a fast-paced, data-driven world laden with countless choices, bicycling simplifies our lives and community.
Professionally, Kevin is a philanthropist, attorney, and entrepreneur. In 2012, Kevin founded a craft beer retailer that won numerous local and national awards, including Top 100 Beer Bar in America in ’14, ’15 and ’16 by Draft Magazine and Best Beer Retailer in ’13, ’14, ’15 and ‘17 by various local publications. Kevin was selected as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers Magazine from 2011-2016. Now “semi-retired” since the sale of his craft beer business, Kevin dedicates much of his time to supporting worthy causes in New Orleans, including consulting small businesses as a Lead Mentor at Propeller.
Kevin received his Bachelors in Physics, magna cum laude, from the University of Texas at Dallas, Juris Doctor from Tulane University, and Master of Laws (LLM) from the Universiteit Van Amsterdam.
Kevin began serving on the Bike Easy Board of Directors in 2018.
