Jamie’s brings 15 years experience in nonprofit management, raising over $800,000 over the last 6 years. As the past executive director of Bike Easy, he joined the board to help Bike Easy fully realize the dream it was founded on: make bicycling fun, safe and easy for everyone. During his tenure on the board, his goals include improving board ethnic and class diversity, providing resources to fine-tune the organization’s internal systems, ensuring wise governance practices and support the Executive in maintaining mission focus.
Jamie studied Marine Biology and Environmental Policy at University of California, Santa Cruz and holds professional certifications in real estate, public speaking and leadership development. During the day, he runs the nonprofit Energy Wise Alliance (energyla.org), where his staff teach energy efficiency to youth, adults and families in order to take control of their energy bill, save money and help the environment.
