Dorothy loves to ride bikes and share her passion for cycling with others. She is especially interested in supporting and growing a network of women cyclists in New Orleans, promoting the health benefits of cycling, and creating safe environments for cyclists of all ages. Before joining the Bike Easy Board, Dorothy volunteered at Bike Easy and was previously an active volunteer with the Hawaii Bicycling League in Honolulu, HI. As a Program Manager and Team Lead for the National Network of Public Health Institutes, Dorothy manages a federal training program and works with a national network of universities to strengthen our nation’s public health workforce. Dorothy received a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and Public Health, a Master’s in Education from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
